Grumpy's and The Waiting Game

Last night at Grumpy's we started talking about next week, which is our last week of class. Jodi asked Rob if he was going to sing, and of course he said absolutely, that he'd sing first. I asked Huey/Henley/Whatever-his-nickname-is-this-week if he would sing, and then suggested that he and Jodi sing a duet since they're both Karakoke chickens. He asked "what would we sing?" I volunteered the first duet that came into my mind which was, for some reason, 'Somewhere Out There." A round of laughter ensued and then Jodi suggested 'Leather and Lace' and the group moved on.

Or so I thought.

A few seconds later Rob nudged me and leaned in. "Somewhere Out There?" he asked. I laughed and said "I know, I know, it was the first thing that came into my head." I went back to the conversation about Leather and Lace but Rob got my attention again and said "No seriously, Somewhere Out There?" pausing to enunciate each word for full impact. So now I'm the Somewhere Out There girl. Thrilling.

This morning between meetings at school I ran my Mentor stuff up to the Loft. Now I'm playing the waiting game...again.

Little known fact: When I wear baseball hats backwards, I look exactly like Fievel. I loved him.
