I woke up promptly at 5:30 this morning to get ready for my 26th First Day of School. Yeah, 26. It's okay, do the math. I got all gussied, took the dog out, ate breakfast, watched a little Mad About You, and went on my way.
Five minutes into my fifteen minute drive, I realized I didn't switch out my nasty-ass flip flops for my first-day-of-school-dress-shoes. So, I turned around and drove home, which made me late to school.
But, all in all the first day back was a success....at least enough of one that I'll go back again tomorrow.
