Viva Las Vegas

Well, I'm home from spring break. I went with three other teacher friends to Vegas for four days of debauchery and exhaustion. It was a great trip. My best friend moved out to Vegas five years ago so I go out there usually between 1-3 times a year, but this was the first time I've gone with other friends. I got to see some new things that I wouldn't have seen with my best friend.

And yes, I won a little money, but no, I didn't win big. Now quit asking.

It's probably the combination of the change in weather, day light savings time, and returning to my job that's causing me to be utterly exhausted. For most people the weather turning from yuck to yum and from dark to light is a good thing. For me, any significant change in the weather is somewhat depressing. Why I live in Minnesota, where the weather can change through all four seasons in an afternoon, I don't know.

We will bury my grandma this Saturday. I hope the family can keep the peace through then. I'm also hoping that my nightmares about her will stop and I'll be able to sleep through the night.

nightmares can take a lot out of you. here's hoping peace comes to you soon. that's probably why you're so tired, too.

or maybe it's just spring fever. don't worry, winter will be back soon. *heh*
