Made it through the week. Big fan of that success. Today I get to leave school at 1:30pm, and be at home, on my couch (or, fine, writing on nanowrimo. sheesh) for FOUR HOURS before I have to get back to school for the show.
I complain as much as I can about having to do theater, but the truth is our kids are doing a kick ass job. They love it so much I can't help but be enthusiastic once I get there. I remember how important my high school theater experience was to me, and it's cool to watch them make those memories.
But, the ulcer factor is one I could have done without.
Maybe I'll take a nap when I get home. A nap. Yes. Definitely a nap.
