A few days ago a woman I teach next door to asked me to run a half marathon with her. I laughed, and we went about our business.
She asked me again this morning and handed me a 12 week training schedule. So, I'm going to run a half marathon.
I am a crazy person.
But, I think that I can do it, and this gives me a reason to be working out all the time, thus higher motivation than just the generic "for my health." If I have a goal in mind I think I'll work out more and better.
So, wish me luck, and if anyone out there has run a 1/2 marathon before and has some tips on things I should do, please let me know!
