That means I ran 6.28 miles with an average pace of 11 minutes and 52 seconds!!!!! That's 8 seconds below my "goal" pace.
I feel like I pretty much rule right now. SIX POINT TWO EIGHT MILES! All running! It's my first "long run" and for the first time I feel confidence in myself that maybe I'm not going to be totally hosed when it comes to the half marathon on August 4th. I've been stalled at 4 and 4.5 miles for weeks, but this is totally a new benchmark for me.
Tomorrow is a lifting day, so my muscles will get to recover. Thursday is a short run, and then I'll do another long run on either Friday or Saturday.
