Note to Self

Okay, so I didn't bring my clothes to work today so I had to run after I got home. It's a pretty common saying that when dressing to run outdoors, one should dress for 20 degrees warmer than it actually is. Running when too hot is just about the worst thing ever. So I dressed in shorts and a short sleeve shirt and out I went.

If, since it was 84 degrees, I dressed for a temperature of 104, shouldn't I also have prepared to RUN in a temperature of 104? I did not think that through, thus the note to self: Do not run in the 80s.

After about a mile my face felt like it was going to burn off. It's an hour, a shower, and a bottle of water later and I'm pretty sure someone could still fry an egg on my face.

This is why I don't run. Ever.
Fear of spontaneous combustion!

And the fact that the friction from my thighs rubbing together might spark a forest fire, and I just couldn't live with myself if that happened. :)
