I left school today with just my purse, keys and water bottle. No bag packed to bursting, no wire basket filled six inches above the top with papers to grade. Just me and my most basic materials.
The plan today was to fill the pee spots in the yard (I'm getting the dog a litter box. I don't care if it makes him feel like a cat and takes away his canine-ness. Filling pee spots SUCKS.) and then nap. Following that slice of heaven, my job is reading all night long. NO grading, no work, no cleaning, nothing. Just reading glorious words on the page for no one but myself.
Two mondays left!!
